Significant amount of innovations were done last year, and I wanted to put some of it together here. In 2009 I wanted to much to create new AS3 games, and that finally came true with a variety of board games, and especially my first fully-featured adventure game collab. I also composed a LOT of brand new music in a variety of styles, to include Blues, Jazz, Rock, Metal and Pop ballads. I animated a lot of 3D models, to include lip synch, cloth and physics simulations.
Last year I introduced new ideas into my gallery, such as interactive 360 degrees seamless panoramic photography, where most included my original music and even spoken narrations, Also new in my gallery were the animated multimedia journals and my very 1st Poser tutorial to help newbies to get started with 3D media right away! ^___^
I think I have also learned more effective ways to set up 3D lights that greatly benefited my gallery. And finally, in 2009 I have finally won a dA contest for the 1st time, which is something I've tried for years. I've learned that my only chances of winning contests would be among other fellow 3D artists, so I have officially resigned from competing against other medias - lesson learned, and I wonder what took me so long to realize something as simple as that.
2009 was one of my most productive years at dA and I am very proud of it. I have never done so many art trades and commissions in a single year, which is part of my way of promoting the 3D media amongst the dA art community. I made a lot of new friends and was also forced to ban someone from my gallery for the 1st time ever, and I hope I never have to do that again. I *really* try to be nice to everybody, but I will no longer tolerate persistent personal attacks.
All art, music and AS3 programming by me. I have also modeled from scratch part of the 3D models seen in this flashback. Hope you like it and thanks for coming by!
