~Arizona Canyon Sunset~

This is a sort of an Arizona postcard I wanted to create using Terai Yuki, the Japanese girl you see in the pic. I created a new leotard just for this scene and later on I split it into about 8 variations of it and this is the bikini version.

The real challenge here was the sunset time, which involves a very tricky kind of lighting. There is also the fact that a wet girl reflects a lot of light and saturated color spots easily form over her body. I guess sunset is a time of strong color contrast, so there was no easy way with the lighting. Part of Yuki's hair on the back became transparent when hit by light, but I guess real hair would as well.

To make things more interesting I added an unlikely light pole in the middle of the canyon. I don't know, when I imagined this scene, in my mind the light pole was there. The sun on the right corner is not really a sun, but something I thought would visually give more balance to the picture.

Again, realistic style is *really* not my strong and it took me three days to create this picture, plus 15 hours of rendering time. I am not quite happy with the final result - this is not Anime, but at least Yuki was born in Japan.
