~Blobman stunts test 04~
Another fun animation about gravity, but this time with dominoes, a rather fragile platform, and Mr. Blobman standing right over it. The interesting thing about this is that every time I run the simulation, it happens in an unpredictable different way. In other words, I don't actually know how it will happen until each simulation is completed!
Every time I ran another simulation I had some pretty good laughs, so I selected a few of them to post here, where this is #4. I might post the others depending on the feedback for this one. ^^
Technical notes: Non 3D geeks, DON'T READ!!
For this animation I used Poser7 default primitives and arranged them together to set up the scene. Took about half an hour to put everything in place, and it failed many times until I've got every piece in the right position so that the entire thing would work together.
The funny thing is that I only had to setup the scene *once*, and then every time the final results are different. The objective is to knock Blobman off the platform and see how he falls down, and I think the domino simulation is an interesting way to accomplish that.
Blobman's fall is accomplished by a mix of physics simulation, plus a ragdoll simulation that is triggered whenever the platform is about to crumble. The platform where Blobman stands is *very* unstable and many times it would crumble down even before the dominoes could hit it. In some of those cases Blobman's fall was even more spectacular! LOL
Hope you like it and thanks for coming by!
