UPDATE: Don't miss Sergevirusx's fantastic trade art version of Sumie here --> [link]
At the age of five Sumie was sent to study traditional Shaolin style Kung Fu with her cousin deep into the Chinese mountains. Now at the age of sixteen, skills with martial arts gave her much more confidence, sometime a bit more than necessary! Specialized on staff and swords, Sumie decided to go back to Japan to help taking care of her ill mother, as well as the family business. Her strong determination was very important in a world where catgirls are not very respected or taken seriously. Through meditation and self-control, she is now able to resist even the most mind-boggling catnip traps and irresistable noisy objects that move around her. Now speaking Japanese with heavy Chinese accent, her most common nickname is "China Cat". But call her that and you will see how fast a staff can fly from Sumie's hands straight to your head!
PS: I uploaded a new version of this pic about an hour after the original was posted. I corrected a few flaws on this new version. Sorry if you already commented the original.
Thanks for coming by!

Wow thanks a lot!! Please note that an updated version replaced the original, where I fixed a number of flaws and changed the general framing and her head a bit. Hope you still like this in the new version. ^^

thats real neat !Although the eyes kinda creep me out her dress looks really cute by the way and i'd immagine a gal like her in a video game ^^ ! Something like Tekken
Thank you, there has been a while I wanted to do something with a china dress, and it ended up being a cat girl. I created special teeth for this character, but as usual small details are lost in Poser renders. Hope you liked Sumie's background story. ^^

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
