~Diana of Delos~

My depiction of the ancient Roman goddess of hunt and chastity (600 BC). Quick with the arrow and short on temper, Diana is still worshiped nowadays by the Romana Neopaganism and Stregheria religions. She was such a popular deity that later she also supplanted Luna as the Moon goddess as well.

And since we are just coming out of Halloween (in the US), Diana was also known for her struggles against evil witches. Sister of Apollo (God of Sun), Diana was the one who first taught magic on Earth and witches were born - where "witches" were the wise women healers of that time.

Her favorite animal was the cat, and mythology claims she could turn into a cat at will. I wonder if she was a cat girl at some point? :kitty:

Figure is A4. Outfit is Golden Arrow by ShadowLand. Rendered in Poser7 with IBL + HDRI + AO with 2 lights. Hope you like it and thanks for coming by!
