~Dream of a Japanese Pixie~

I know this looks odd, but check this out - last night I had this weird dream of a cute Japanese pixie in black dress opening her arms, and then arcs came out of them like waves of a music. She was smiling like if I knew what she was doing, and I woke up with this music segment "A7sus A7 F2 G2" playing in my head. I added 4 more bars and it became:

I got my guitar and started playing this and then 8 more bars came out:

And then those 16 bars became the "Dream of a Japanese Pixie"! I added a metal pedal to the guitar to make this more like a rock ballad on The Eagles style. First music I ever made when sleeping - weird, eh? LOL

It's a simple tune but I couldn't get it out of my head, so I had to make it a deviation to let it get out. If you have a guitar, play it out - it's catchy! ^^

I know what you mean, and let's add to it that most people at dA just take original music for granted, often ignoring it completely. But I enjoy creating multimedia deviations nonetheless, where I can put web programming, music composing, and 3D art all together into a single deviation. It's part of the fun and I am happy dA actually supports it. ^___^

Hmmm.... I figured they should have a separate category for music, but then I thought about the things I have seen on UG... XD Anyway, I know what you are saying, but I don't have access to any multimedia tools to create Shockwave flash with. I can easily create .flv files, but not .swf
Have you ever tried to create a flash music video?

dA will never have a music category because posting "music" violates it's TOS. And yes, I have posted *many* music videos, where this [link] was the first one. ^^
