~Quailwood Park~

This is the Quailwood park at Dewey, which is about 20 minutes driving from here. I stitched about 20 photos to make this panorama and the final 2 images didn't stitch very well because my tripod is cheap and didn't keep the alignment for all photos. So never mind that one bad seam there.

For this new panorama I added many new features to the viewer program, like new music I composed especially for this, a button to turn music on/off, music volume controls, and auto-panning.

The controls are:
* Mouse drag: pan right/left
* Audio button: music on/off
* Up/Down keys: music volume
* Left/Right keys: sideways panning
* Enter key: auto-panning on/off

I managed to keep the entire thing around 1Mb, including music, the large panorama photo and the Flash program itself, so it should load fast for you. And if it doesn't, you can still enjoy my custom cute Kaori catgirl loader screen! ^^

Original music, Photography, photo stitching, and Flash panorama viewer programming were all created by me! :D

Yay, nice to find an Arizona brother in this jungle! You might also like my shot on Arizona's monsoon skies --> [link] :D

After all, we don't see much of clouds or rain that often, so better save it for later to remember what they look like! LOL

Man, this park is really nice. That ness monster like dragon toy is cool. The music reminds me of Sim City for snes and I like that. It's like jazz.

Thank you! I always wanted to post my panoramas but dA doesn't support QTVR, so I had to create my own viewer in a format that dA supports. :D

BTW, is the Z backwards in the header? Or is that supposed to be an S? Not sure of any state with AS for an abbreviation. Although, I can think of some cities that should have the abbreviation ASS. lol!!

Cool idea man. That is a nice place.

It's funny seeing all of those plants. They are so out of place in a desert. They look almost alien with all of the rock and dirt around them. Good shot! More of these would be cool.

I need to get a tripod. :D

Thank you! I know what you mean about the desert plants. LOL
Over here, a "garden" is made of 62 tons of rocks and gravel. :XD:

That's pretty cool! I've made panarama shots before, but I had no idea there was a viewer out there for them XD

There are a couple of viewers, where the most popular seems to be QuickTimeVR. But since dA doesn't support it, I had to write my own viewer using ActionScript3, where this is the 2nd version with some new features. :)

If you want to post your panoramas here at dA, I can create it for you using my viewer. All you have to do is send me the stitched photo (max height=600 pixels) and also background music (MP3) if you like. ;)

Well done! I used to do this with huge renders when I played around with a "myst" style game engine. The stitching is always the hard part.

Thank you! This panorama viewer is just a 100 AS3 lines long and I intend to add a camera perspective distortion to make it more believable and immersing. Adding hot spots would be nice too. :)

Wow - that's impressive! Lucky no one drove away from that parking lot (or came in) - same for the people.

That seam might have gone unnoticed by me at least, had you not said anything :D

Thank you! This is just my 2nd posted panorama and the viewer program is getting better with many added features. So this is about photography, panorama stitching, web programming and composing original music. :D

Oh I had meant to comment on the music as well. It's nice, fits the scene without dominating the senses, so well met on that as well!

Yes, a lot of skills represented in that one piece.

It's a full 360 degrees panorama, almost seamless (cheap tripod!).
Hope you also like the new music I created for it. ^___^
