Well Hello, Nurse! -Wolf Whistles.- I am really digging this new Madoka figure. If you evfer publish her, I'd download her in a flash! Now, to the render: I like the shading here, as ti presents both a cartoonish and yet horror movie feel to the who,e render. The clothes a re a good choice, considering the character and I like the angle of the sword and the characters grip on it. The lacerations are done with a PS brush, right? Well, they aren't the most convincing thing in this image, but I guess they'll do. The bottom of her tank has some aliasing going on, I wonder if there's a way to correct that. Barring some personal taste issues, this would be an excellent render. It is a good render, mind you, so I mst it.
Thanks for the thoughtful comment! I am still new to PS brushes, so we can consider this an early work using them. I actually did all the postwork on Paintshop and exported the layers to PS just to add the brushes, and then re-imported back to Corel Paintshop to finish the job. What seems to be aliasing at the shirt bottom is actually leftover polygons after I removed part of geometry for this render. I was hoping I could get away with it because the polys are so small, but I see I should had used a transparency map instead.
In case you hadn't noticed, I read most of your last Journal. I didn't want to "TL;DR" it, but I had other things pending and not a lot of time to get to them… …but I did the general gist of it. I'll do my best to give some honest critiques, although that might not always be possible…
Haha I would never imagine Arab names would be like that! You are right, some of the most common Japanese names include "warrior" and "sword". My dad is called Takeshi and is own of the most common names in Japan, and it means "warrior".
I am not sure about Sayaka, but "Hanako" means "little flower" and is also a very common girl's name. Sarah, on the other hand, is a biblical name from the Hebrew history, and it kind of surprises me it would be used in an Arab country (if you know what I mean). ^^
In my humble opinion, FF7 had poor graphics presentation and was rather repetitive. I got tired of it and never finished the game. It was repeating itself too often and offered little eyecandy to keep me playing... -_-
